Robbery Suspects Taken Into Custody After Runway Crash

PHOENIX, AZ – Two individuals are in custody after crashing through a fence at Deer Valley Airport while attempting to flee authorities Tuesday morning in north Phoenix.

According to U.S. News & World Report, a robbery was reported at a Phoenix business at about 5:30 a.m. Police pursued the armed suspects, who eventually crashed their vehicle through a fence at the Deer Valley Airport and came to a stop on one of the runways.

The unidentified suspects attempted to flee the scene of the crash but were caught and arrested a short time later.

No injuries have been reported.
