PHOENIX, AZ – Two women were rushed to the hospital after a crash involving four vehicles in south Phoenix on Tuesday morning.
According to CBS 5, the crash occurred at about 8 a.m. within the intersection of 7th Street and Southern Avenue.
Investigators say a southbound vehicle with two female occupants drove through a red light and collided with an eastbound vehicle. Two additional vehicles then collided with the wreckage from the first collision.
The two women in the at-fault vehicle were hospitalized in critical condition. No other serious injuries have been reported at this time.
