Four Arrested After Police Pursuit Ends in Tucson Crash

handcuffs and gavel on law bookTUCSON, AZ – Four people were arrested in the Marana area on Thursday following a robbery that led to a police chase and crash.

According to KOLD News 13, officers were called to the scene of a robbery on Tucson’s south side in the early afternoon. Shortly after receiving the call, they spotted the suspects’ vehicle near 12th Street and Drexel Road.

The vehicle merged onto northbound I-10, which led to a chase for several miles. They were eventually forced to exit onto Cortaro Road in Marana, where they soon collided with another vehicle.

All four suspects exited the vehicle and attempted to flee on foot. Police had them in custody by 4 p.m.

Fortunately, no one in the second vehicle was injured in the crash. It is unclear at this time if any occupants of the suspect vehicle were hurt.
