PHOENIX, AZ – A driver, who was later arrested for a DUI, was held at gunpoint by another motorist after causing two crashes in Phoenix on Wednesday night, AZ Family reported.
The suspected DUI driver was involved in the initial collision on I-17 in Central Phoenix and attempted to flee the scene. The victim of the crash pursued the first driver, who hit a second car while trying to escape.
The pursuit came to an end near the intersection of Greenway Road and 25th Avenue, just east of the interstate near Cave Creek Golf Course. The pursuing driver held the DUI suspect at gunpoint until police arrived.
The first driver has been charged with driving under the influence. Further investigations are ongoing.
