PHOENIX, AZ – A car crashed into a bus stop last Tuesday, killing one person and injuring two others.

According to AZ Central, the crash occurred at a bus stop near 35th Avenue and Dunlap Avenue at approximately 12:30 p.m. A motorist was reportedly heading south on 35th Avenue when they swerved to avoid a car exiting a private driveway and lost control of the vehicle.
A man who was standing at the bus stop was killed in the crash. A woman was rushed to the hospital in “extremely critical condition,” according to a Phoenix police spokesperson. A second man suffered minor injuries.
The driver was unhurt and remained at the scene to cooperate with authorities.
