PHOENIX, AZ – A pedestrian was killed after being struck by a vehicle in West Phoenix on Saturday morning, CBS 5 reports.

The unidentified pedestrian was struck at about 12:35 a.m. while walking in the area of North 37th Avenue and West McDowell Road. It is unclear whether the pedestrian was in a crosswalk.

The 50-year-old male driver remained at the scene and cooperated with police.

Investigations are ongoing. We will update this blog if we learn more.
