Pedestrian Struck, Seriously Injured in Tucson Crash

pedestrian stepping into crosswalkTUCSON, AZ – A pedestrian sustained serious injuries as the result of a collision just outside of Rodeo Park last Friday night.

KGUN reports the victim was struck sometime before 9:15 p.m. while walking in the area of West Irvington Road and South 6th Avenue.

It is not clear what led up to the crash. However, Irvington Road was shut down between 6th and 12th Avenues while investigators worked at the scene.
