img of ambulance responding to night incident PHOENIX, AZ – A man was rushed to the hospital after being struck by a vehicle in the Citrus Hills area of Phoenix on Sunday night.

According to CBS 5, the collision happened shortly after 8 p.m.near 16th Street and Southern Avenue. First responders transported the unidentified victim to a nearby hospital in serious condition.

The driver of the vehicle cooperated and remained at the scene. Investigators do not believe impairment was a factor in the incident.
