Injured Pedestrian Dies Nearly a Month After Accident

TUCSON, AZ – The victim of a serious pedestrian accident on the Kino Parkway early last month succumbed to her injuries on Tuesday.

The accident occurred on September 9th at the intersection of South Kino Parkway and East Winsett Street, according to KGUN.

Police believe 64-year-old Sharon Ann Ridella was crossing against the green light, which caused vehicles to swerve to avoid her. She was struck and critically injured by a 2017 Chevrolet Trax.

The driver of the SUV remained at the scene and is cooperating with the investigation. At this time, no charges have been filed against anyone involved in the crash.
