Pedestrian Killed After Being Struck in Glendale

GLENDALE, AZ - Investigators with the Glendale Police Department are looking into the cause of an accident that killed a pedestrian Monday evening.
According to ABC 15 Arizona, police responded to a reported vehicle vs. pedestrian crash near the intersection of 51st Avenue and Missouri Avenue at about 6:40 p.m. yesterday.
Officials have not released any information regarding the vehicle or driver involved in the incident at this time. However, the investigation is still ongoing.
The accident closed down the portion of Missouri Ave. near 51st for a few hours Monday evening, causing delays for rush-hour commuters.
