Pacific Avenue Crash Seriously Injures Pedestrian

garage with ambulance parkedYUMA, AZ – One person was flown to a hospital in Phoenix Wednesday morning after being struck by a tow truck in Yuma.

According to a report by KYMA, the victim stepped into the roadway in the 2300 block of Pacific Avenue at about 3:30 a.m. and was subsequently struck.

Police say the truck driver attempted to veer out of the way but was unable to.

The victim was flown to a hospital in Phoenix for treatment of critical, potentially life-threatening injuries.
