Fatal Pedestrian Accident in Glendale

GLENDALE, AZ – The Glendale Police Department is investigating a fatal pedestrian accident that took place on Tuesday morning.

According to Fox 10 Phoenix, an unidentified woman was struck while attempting to cross 51st Avenue, south of the intersection at Maryland Avenue.

Police believe the woman was walking outside of the designated crosswalk at the time. The driver stopped to render aid and is cooperating with the investigation.
