Hit-and-Run Driver Seriously Injures Woman in Tucson

TUCSON, AZ – Officers with the Tucson Police Department responded to a hit-and-run collision that seriously injured a pedestrian Monday evening, KGUN reports.

The unidentified female pedestrian was struck sometime before 8 a.m. near the intersection of 4th Avenue and 25th Street.

Emergency responders transported the seriously injured woman to a nearby hospital. Her current condition is unknown.

The driver fled the scene before authorities arrived. No identifying information regarding the suspect or their vehicle has been made available at this time.
