TEMPE, AZ - A man was struck and killed by a hit-and-run driver in east Tempe last week, CBS 5 reports.
The pedestrian, a man in his 20s, was hit by an unknown vehicle at about 5 a.m. near the intersection of McClintock Drive and Curry Road.
The victim suffered fatal injuries in the crash. The driver fled the scene before authorities arrived.
The intersection was shut down for several hours because of the investigation. All lanes were reopened by 10:30 a.m.
