Phoenix Police ID 22-Year-Old Pedestrian Crash Victim

PHOENIX, AZ – Police have released the identity of a man killed following a previously reported pedestrian accident in east Phoenix last Thursday.

According to Fox 10 Phoenix, a 22-year-old was attempting to cross McDowell Road at 36th Street at about 1:40 a.m. when he was fatally struck by an eastbound vehicle.

Investigators say the man was walking outside of the crosswalk when the accident occurred. The driver remained at the scene and cooperated with police.

No charges have been filed in connection to this case as of Tuesday morning.
