MESA, AZ – A pedestrian was struck and killed by a street sweeper on US-60 in Mesa early Tuesday morning.
According to CBS 5, the person was struck shortly after 5 a.m. after running into the westbound lanes of traffic near Dobson Road.
The far-right westbound lane was shut down for some time following the crash while emergency crews worked at the scene.
