Fatal Mesa Crash Near Greenfield and McDowell Roads

police lights at multi-vehicle crash MESA, AZ – One person was killed and another was seriously injured following a Saturday night collision in Mesa, CBS 5 reports.

The incident occurred when a vehicle traveling east on McDowell Road t-boned a vehicle that was traveling north on Greenfield Road.

One occupant in the northbound vehicle sustained fatal injuries in the crash. Another was seriously injured, but their current condition is unknown at this time.

It is unclear if impairment or speeding was a factor. Police are conducting further investigations.
