TUCSON, AZ - A Long-EZ aircraft carrying two people crashed near the Ryan Airfield Runway in Tucson at approximately 7:15 a.m. Tuesday morning, CBS 5 reports.
One person was confirmed dead at the scene, and another was transported to a nearby hospital with critical injuries.
The crash is being actively investigated by the National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) and Federal Aviation Administration (FAA).
