SCOTTSDALE, AZ - At least three people were hospitalized following a multi-vehicle crash in the East Valley on Saturday morning, reports CBS 5.
The collision, which involved a passenger vehicle and a motorcycle, occurred at about 9 a.m. along Loop 101 near Indian School Road.
Initial reports held that two individuals had been taken to the hospital. The Department of Safety later issued a correction saying that three people had been hospitalized. None of the victims have been identified at this time, and the cause of the crash remains unclear.
Traffic was halted on this portion of Loop 101 for roughly four hours, forcing drivers to seek an alternate route after the crash. All lanes were reopened at about 1 p.m.
If you have been injured in a motorcycle crash due to an inattentive driver, you may be eligible for compensation under the law.
