A motorcyclist was killed in a collision with a passenger vehicle in Scottsdale Wednesday morning.

CBS 5 reports that the accident occurred near the intersection of Frank Lloyd Wright Boulevard and Raintree Drive shortly after 10 a.m., when a woman riding a motorcycle crashed into a car.

The motorcyclist was killed in the collision, while the other motorist was uninjured. The circumstances of the accident remain unclear at this time.

Police closed the area so the incident could be investigated, although traffic resumed by that afternoon.
