Multiple Lanes on US 60 Closed Due to a Multi-Car Crash

MESA, AZ – Troopers with the Arizona Department of Public Safety blocked several lanes of US 60 following a multi-vehicle crash Monday morning.

According to Fox 10 Phoenix, the two-vehicle crash took place shortly after 11 a.m. within the eastbound lanes of the freeway near the exit to Higley Road.

It is unclear what led up to the crash at this time. However, photos from the scene show a tractor trailer and a pickup truck blocking the center lane of traffic.

Troopers shut down all eastbound lanes for just under an hour while emergency crews worked at the scene. Fortunately, it does not appear as though anyone was injured.
