PHOENIX, AZ - A Phoenix man was killed after his vehicle collided with a utility pole Wednesday morning.
According to AZ Family, the crash happened a couple of blocks east of 32nd Street and McDowell Road at around 6:00 a.m.
Police say the 29-year-old male driver was traveling westbound on McDowell Rd. when he careened into the pole. Paramedics pronounced the man deceased at the scene.
Details regarding what may have caused the incident have not yet been released. McDowell was closed for several hours while the crash was being investigated and cleared from the road.
