Motorcyclist Dies After Early Morning Crash with Vehicle

side shot of side of motorcycle enginePHOENIX, AZ – A motorcyclist died Monday morning as the result of a two-vehicle collision in south Phoenix.

According to Fox 10 Phoenix, the crash happened at about 7 a.m., as 53-year-old Victor Jordan was riding his motorcycle west on Baseline Road near 38th Place.

Police say Jordan was hit by a westbound passenger vehicle that was attempting to turn left onto 38th Pl. He was rushed to a nearby hospital in extremely critical condition and succumbed to his injuries a short time later.

The other driver involved in the crash remained at the scene and cooperated with police. It is unclear if they will face criminal charges.
