Motorcyclist Fatally Injured in Tucson Collision

police tape blocking off night crash sceneTUCSON, AZ – A 21-year-old motorcyclist was killed in a collision on Kino Parkway this past Friday night.

According to KGUN, the crash took place within the 2900 block of South Kino Parkway, just north of I-10, at about 10 p.m. on May 14th.

Responding officers from the Tucson Police Department (TPD) reported that an unspecified vehicle was attempting to turn left into a business complex when the motorcyclist, Mahmoud Soufiani Morabet, collided with its passenger’s side.

First responders treated Morabet at the scene but were unable to save him. He died of his injuries at the crash site.

The driver of the vehicle was not impaired, according to the TPD, and remained at the scene.
