PHOENIX, AZ - Officials with the Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office have identified the man found dead after a mobile home fire in Laveen Village Wednesday evening.
According to CBS 5, the blaze occurred near the intersection 43rd Avenue and Southern Avenue. Responding firefighters were searching for occupants when they discovered the body of an elderly man, who has since been identified as Larry Gordon.
Officials are still investigating a possible cause of the fire. Neighbors say Gordon has lived in the mobile home since 1971.
