TUCSON, AZ - A collision involving a Tucson school bus left one person dead early Wednesday morning.
According to KOLD, the incident occurred sometime before 8 a.m., when a sedan veered out of the way of a parked car near the intersection of Valencia Road and Camino de la Tierra and collided with an oncoming school bus. The bus subsequently struck a pickup truck.
The driver of the pickup, 34-year-old Ronnie Estrella, suffered fatal injuries in the crash.
No children were on the school bus when the incident occurred.
Investigators are working to establish an official cause of the crash.
