PHOENIX, AZ - A man in a wheelchair was killed when he was struck by a vehicle as he attempted to cross a street in north Phoenix yesterday morning.
According to Fox 10 Phoenix, 47-year-old James Gray was hit near East Dunlap Avenue and North 7th Street at about 8:30 a.m. on Wednesday.
Gray was rushed to a nearby hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries.
The driver who struck Gray remained at the scene and cooperated with police. It is unclear if any charges will be filed in connection to the deadly crash.
