Man Rushed to Hospital After Pedestrian-Related Accident

A male pedestrian was rushed to the hospital after he was struck by a car in Phoenix, according to AZ Family. The accident occurred at approximately 7 p.m. on Labor Day, Monday, Sept. 7, near 35th Avenue and Deer Valley Road. According to police, the vehicle was traveling eastbound on Deer Valley when it struck the victim who was walking along the road.

The man was transported to the hospital and is said to be in critical condition.The driver of the vehicle stayed at the scene and cooperated with investigators. Police said that they believe neither speed nor impairment contributed to the accident.
