Man Dies Five Months After Being Hit by Car

YUMA, AZ – Officials in Yuma have reported the death of a man who was struck by a vehicle while walking on 4th Avenue in mid-June.

According to KYMA, 72-year-old Richard Gray was attempting to cross the street at around 9 p.m. on June 14th when he was struck by a vehicle.

Paramedics rushed Gray to Yuma Regional Medical Center in critical condition. He was later transported to a Phoenix hospital for further treatment. Unfortunately, he succumbed to his injuries last Friday, November 6th.

The driver involved in the collision continues to cooperate with the police. No charges have been filed against that individual at this time.
