BLACK CANYON CITY, AZ - Major delays were reported following a multi-vehicle crash on I-17 Sunday afternoon.
According to a report by the Arizona Republic, the crash took place shortly before noon in the southbound lanes of the interstate in Black Canyon City.
Troopers with the Arizona Department of Public Safety (DPS) confirmed that at least one person was injured in the crash. The extent of their injuries remains unclear at this time.
The freeway was shut down until about 12:45 p.m., causing a major traffic jam.
