MESA, AZ - A motorcyclist was struck and killed by a car at the Loop-202 and Guadalupe Road overpass late Sunday night, ABC 15 reports. The motorcyclist was pronounced dead at the scene.
At 10:06 p.m. the Arizona Department of Transportation tweeted an image that showed the crash’s aftermath and noted that the off-ramp was closed.
The circumstances surrounding the incident remain unclear at this time. The Mesa Police Department’s Vehicular Crime Unit is conducting a thorough investigation, and more details may be forthcoming.
