Two Californians Injured in Lake Havasu Boat Collision

MOHAVE COUNTY, AZ. ”“ A 42-foot MTI craft carrying 10 passengers collided with a 21-foot Eliminator boat carrying three individuals last Friday at the mouth of the Colorado River.

The victims were California residents, and have been identified as Shawn C. Fasulkey, 40, of Canyon Country, Jim L. Dolson, 51, of Northridge, who were rescued by Lake Havasu City paramedics. Both Fasulkey and Dolson suffered severe injuries in the crash.

A third victim was also an occupant of the craft, and has not yet been identified. According to Havasu News, the man was transported to University Medical Center in Las Vegas, and he remains in critical condition.

Authorities say the Eliminator watercraft turned into the port side of the MTI boat. The crash is still under investigation, and toxicology reports for the three individuals on the Eliminator craft are still pending.
