Deadly Crash in Glendale Likely Due to Impairment

Officials with the Glendale Police Department have determined that impairment and speed were both factors in a fatal collision that took place earlier this month.

According to the Glendale Star, 20-year-old Jadalynn Faith Pasion and a 14-year-old boy were killed after the vehicle in which they were passengers was rear-ended on Glendale Avenue. The force of the initial impact pushed their black sedan head-on into a third vehicle.

The driver responsible for the crash, a 29-year-old woman, was transported to a local hospital to be treated for non-life-threatening injuries.

Upon further investigation, police have determined speed and impairment played roles in the crash. It is not clear at this time whether any criminal charges will be filed.
