Glendale Police Identify Those Involved in DUI Crash

dui law etched in gold sign on tableGLENDALE, AZ – Police in Glendale have released the identities of the people involved in a fatal DUI crash on Thursday, August 12th.

According to the Glendale Star, 72-year-old Sandra Kay Williams was attempting to turn into a private drive near the intersection of Camelback Road and 59th Avenue when her vehicle was struck by an oncoming SUV.

Both Williams and her passenger, 54-year-old Sharri Wood, were taken to a nearby hospital, where they died a short time later.

The driver in the SUV, 44-year-old Bushiri Kibukila, was arrested after displaying signs of intoxication at the scene.
