early morning traffic bumper to bumperSACATON, AZ – An early morning collision on I-10 caused multiple lanes of traffic to be shut down near SR-187. Motorists faced significant delays while emergency crews worked to clear the scene.

According to a tweet by Arizona DOT, the collision took place at about 5 a.m. on the eastbound side of the interstate, near the SR-187 overpass.

Few details regarding the cause of the crash are available at this time. However, the eastbound lanes were shut down for about an hour. Traffic began moving again shortly before 6 a.m.

It is unclear whether anyone was injured in the crash. We will provide updates if possible.
