Investigators Identify Phoenix Hit-and-Run Victim

PHOENIX, AZ – Investigators with the Phoenix Police Department have identified the individual killed as the result of a hit-and-run collision in West Phoenix last Thursday night.

According to Fox 10 Phoenix, the incident occurred at the intersection near 83rd Avenue and Thomas Road.

Police say 56-year-old Bradley Mahler was attempting to cross the street when he was struck by an SUV that fled from the scene without stopping. Mahler was rushed to a local hospital where he was pronounced deceased a short time later.

No identifying information of the driver has been released yet. We will continue to monitor this developing story for any pertinent updates, should they be made available.
