PHOENIX, AZ – Phoenix police are searching for the driver and vehicle involved in a hit-and-run crash that took the life of a pedestrian early Monday morning.

The unidentified male pedestrian was struck in the area of 48th Street and Fillmore Street shortly before 3 a.m., Fox 10 Phoenix reports. He was transported to a local hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

No identifying information regarding the driver or vehicle has been released at this time. We will continue to monitor this developing story and provide updates should they be made available.
