One Dead After Hit-and-Run Crash in East Phoenix

PHOENIX, AZ – Phoenix police are searching for the driver and vehicle involved in a hit-and-run crash that took the life of a pedestrian early Monday morning.

The unidentified male pedestrian was struck in the area of 48th Street and Fillmore Street shortly before 3 a.m., Fox 10 Phoenix reports. He was transported to a local hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
