Fiery Crash on US-60 Sends Three to Hospital Sunday

busy hallway in hospitalTEMPE, AZ – A suspected hit-and-run collision on US-60 on Sunday night seriously injured an adult and two children.

According to ABC 15, two vehicles collided in the westbound lanes of the highway near the exit to McClintock Drive.

One of the vehicles slammed into the median wall and caught fire. Police believe the other vehicle fled the scene.

The three occupants of the vehicle that remained at the scene were extricated and transported to a nearby hospital. The unidentified driver was unresponsive, while the severity of the children’s injuries is unclear.

No further information on the other driver is available at this time.
