PHOENIX, AZ – Police in Phoenix were forced to block Higley Road in both directions following a rush-hour crash Tuesday morning.

According to Total Traffic Phoenix, the accident took place at about 8:15 a.m. along Higley Road near the intersection with Riggs Road.

It is still unclear what led up to the collision, or how many vehicles were involved. However, this situation is still developing. Drivers have been advised to avoid the area, as delays and closures are likely throughout Tuesday morning.
