PHOENIX, AZ - A person was arrested last Wednesday after stealing a vehicle and then crashing into a pair of police cars.
Phoenix police initially attempted to pull over the vehicle near I-17 and Cactus Road after they received reports that it had been stolen. However, the driver crashed the vehicle into two patrol cars in an attempt to escape.
The suspect then drove westbound on Cactus Road and hit a third vehicle in the intersection with 51st Avenue.
According to the report from AZ Central, at least seven law enforcement vehicles surrounded the driver after the two crashes and he was finally taken into custody.
It is unclear if anyone was injured in the collisions.
