The bus, which was traveling from Las Vegas, crashed on Diamond Bar Road just north of Dolan Springs at about 12:20 p.m.

Passengers told deputies with the Mohave County Sheriff’s Office that the driver was traveling at a high rate of speed when the bus rolled onto its side and slid down the roadway.

Of the 48 passengers on the bus, one was pronounced dead at the scene, two were hospitalized in critical condition, and the rest were all taken to nearby hospitals to be treated for non-life-threatening injuries.
