Signs of Foul Play Following Hit-and-Run in Phoenix

PHOENIX, AZ – Police in Phoenix are searching for the driver responsible for fatally striking a pedestrian early Sunday morning, ABC 15 reports.

Officers were called to the intersection of 27th Avenue and Indian School Road at about 4:15 a.m., where they discovered a body lying in the roadway.

The victim, identified only as a 30-year-old man, was struck by a white SUV. The driver involved fled the scene and abandoned the vehicle nearby.

No further details regarding the suspect’s identity are available at this time.
