Three Killed in City Bus Accident Thursday

red and blue police lightsPHOENIX, AZ – Three people died and six others were rushed to the hospital following a major collision involving a city bus in Phoenix on Thursday afternoon.

12 News reports the five-vehicle crash occurred at about 4 p.m. near the intersection of 7th Street and Missouri Avenue.

In total, nine people were involved in the crash. Two died at the scene and a third succumbed to their injuries at an area hospital. Six others were also hospitalized with unknown injuries.

No one on the bus was injured as a result of the crash. Our team will update this blog with further information, as it is released by Phoenix police.
