PHOENIX, AZ – Firefighters in south Phoenix responded to a major collision near Baseline Road that resulted in several injuries Thursday evening, Fox 10 Phoenix reports.
Two people were extricated from one of the vehicles involved in a two-car wreck at the intersection of 20th Street and Baseline. A total of five individuals were transported to nearby hospitals in critical condition.
Fortunately, a child in one of the vehicles was not hurt.
Investigators are working to establish an official cause of the crash at this time.
