Driver in Fatal Crash with North Phoenix School Bus

ambulance responding to crashPHOENIX, AZ – A man died following a head-on collision involving three vehicles in North Phoenix on Wednesday morning.

According to a report by ABC 15, the crash took place sometime before 9:30 a.m. when the driver of a silver sedan crossed into the oncoming lanes of 19th Avenue near Cholla Street.

The sedan then collided head-on with a tow truck before striking a southbound school bus.

Fortunately, no children were on the bus at the time of the crash.

The unidentified male driver of the sedan was taken to a nearby hospital. He succumbed to his injuries there a short time later.

The cause of the crash has not yet been determined. It is unclear if anyone else was injured during the collision.
