Man Hit, Killed While Crossing West Valencia Road

PHOENIX, AZ – A man was killed while attempting to cross a street in south Tucson last Friday night, reports KOLD.

Santos Fidel Thomas, 43, was struck by a black late-model Chevrolet Tahoe on West Valencia Road near its intersection with South Commerce Court at about 9 p.m. on March 5.

First responders attempted life-saving measures on Thomas at the scene. They subsequently rushed him to Banner University Medical Center, where he later died.

The unidentified driver of the Tahoe remained at the scene. No charges have been filed against that individual at this time.
