WICKENBURG, AZ – One person was killed following a crash on US-93, north of Wickenburg, early on Saturday.
According to ABC 15, the collision occurred in the southbound lanes of the freeway, near the I-40 interchange.
It is unclear what led up to the fatal crash. However, southbound traffic on I-40, as well as the northbound lanes on I-70 were shut down for several hours afterwards. The Arizona Department of Transportation reported that traffic began moving again at about 3 p.m.
