Multi-Vehicle Collision in Chandler Leaves One Dead

CHANDLER, AZ – Officials with the Chandler Police Department have released the identity of a woman killed in a multi-vehicle crash Wednesday afternoon.

According toAZ Central, 83-year-old Sandra Cruden was rushed to the hospital after a crash within the intersection of Dobson Road and Earll Drive at about 3:30 p.m. Cruden was pronounced dead a short time later.

Police say the accident occurred when a vehicle headed south on Dobson turned in front of a vehicle traveling north. The two vehicles collided, and the force of the impact sent both automobiles into a third car, which was stopped at the intersection.

Cruden was a passenger in the vehicle that caused the crash.
