SAHUARITA, AZ - One person was killed, and two others were injured as the result of a major collision in Sahuarita Thursday morning.
According to a report by the Arizona Daily Star, 50-year-old Alisa Gullatta was heading east on Pima Mine Road when she drifted into the oncoming lane near I-19 and struck another vehicle head-on. A third vehicle traveling west collided with the second car.
Gullatta was pronounced dead at the scene.
The two other drivers were sent to a nearby hospital with minor injuries. Their current conditions are unknown.
